Role Description

We are seeking a visionary technology leader who can define and execute our technology strategy, empowering the business to achieve meaningful and measurable outcomes. This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal stage in the company's evolution, where the successful candidate will have significant influence over our direction, culture, and growth.

The role offers a high degree of autonomy, with the freedom to shape both the technology function and the ways of working that best support the team and the business. While experience leading technology organisations is essential, prior exposure to our specific technology stack is not. We are looking for an individual with the strategic thinking, leadership capability, and adaptability to quickly understand our environment and guide its future development.

As our first dedicated Head of Technology, you will lead a team of four experienced technology professionals who have historically reported directly to the CEO. This team represents approximately half of our current workforce and forms the foundation upon which we will continue to scale. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building organisational maturity, developing technical leadership within the team, and ensuring technology remains a strategic differentiator for the business.

• Experience in determining the pace and timing of retiring legacy infrastructure.
• Capability to assess the viability, benefits, and costs of migrating to a modern private cloud platform.

Immediate Priorities (First 12 Months)

• Drive the adoption and practical deployment of AI to improve productivity, delivery velocity, and operational efficiency.
• Determine the pace and timing of retiring legacy Windows-based infrastructure and Microsoft SQL Server platforms.
• Assess the viability, benefits, and costs of migrating to a modern private cloud platform.

• Define and execute the company's long-term technology vision.
• Scale products and services while strengthening security and regulatory compliance.
• Build a world-class engineering culture and identify new opportunities to leverage data and emerging technologies.
