Role Description

The Connected Solutions division is the growth engine of this transformation, delivering centralized production, cloud-based workflows, and connectivity for the world’s biggest properties, streamers, and networks.

We are seeking a Vice President & General Manager, Connected Solutions – South Florida to serve as the senior leader accountable for NEP’s South Florida Connected Solutions hub. This facility is one of the most complex and strategically important nodes in the Connected Solutions ecosystem, supporting:

• Centralized production
• Technical operations
• MCR/NOC workflows
• Live event execution
• Client operations
• Facility growth for major streaming, broadcast, sports, and entertainment customers

This executive leader will oversee:

• Day-to-day facility performance
• Team leadership
• Client experience
• Budget ownership
• Operational readiness
• Cross-functional execution across engineering, production operations, TOC/MCR/NOC functions, facility operations, and client-facing support

The VP & GM will be expected to operate with both strategic judgment and hands-on visibility, ensuring South Florida delivers the reliability, professionalism, scalability, and client-service standard expected of NEP.

As part of the broader US Connected Solutions operating model, this role will partner closely with US leadership, engineering, technical operations, production services, sales, account management, finance, and other facility leaders to ensure South Florida operates as a flagship hub within NEP’s connected production ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in live production, broadcast operations, streaming operations, media facilities, technical operations, production operations, venue operations, or a related operational leadership environment.
• Proven experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams in a high-pressure, client-facing, operationally complex environment.
• Experience managing a complex facility, production operation, technical operation, control room environment, MCR/NOC/TOC, or similar live media workplace strongly preferred.
• Strong client-service orientation, with experience supporting major customers, executive stakeholders, strategic accounts, or high-profile productions.
• Operational fluency in centralized production, REMI workflows, IP-based production, live event operations, facility engineering, TOC/MCR/NOC workflows, or cloud/hybrid production preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets, staffing plans, vendors, facility needs, utilization, operating priorities, and capital investment planning.
• Strong executive communication, organizational leadership, financial discipline, and follow-through skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Must be based in or willing to work full-time from South Florida, with ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel as required.

Requirements

• Lead the South Florida Hub as the senior executive leader for the South Florida Connected Solutions facility.
• Ensure day-to-day operations meet NEP standards for reliability, readiness, facility presentation, client service, communication, safety, and execution across all facility functions.
• Lead adoption of SOPs, runbooks, escalation paths, facility workflows, and US/Global Connected Solutions standards.
• Serve as the senior connector across engineering, technical operations, production operations, MCR/NOC/TOC functions, client-facing teams, and facility support.
• Partner with leadership on facility utilization, control room readiness, capacity planning, infrastructure needs, staffing models, and future growth requirements.
• Act as the senior South Florida operational partner and escalation point for major customers using the facility.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, production partners, and account teams.
• Partner with Sales, Strategic Accounts, and Account Management on customer meetings, executive site visits, renewals, expansions, local activations, and operational solutioning.
• Ensure every customer experience reflects NEP’s reputation for reliability, professionalism, operational excellence, and high-touch live production support.
• Manage and develop the South Florida Connected Solutions team across various functions.
• Develop managers and team leads, clarify ownership, strengthen succession planning.
• Create a positive, accountable, client-focused environment grounded in operational excellence.
• Manage a complex facility budget, including operating expenses, staffing resources, and capital investment planning.
• Partner with Finance, Production, and Operations leadership to manage utilization, labor efficiency, and cost control.
• Be available for major live events, customer-critical workflows, escalations, and facility activations.
• Ensure major issues are communicated clearly, resolved quickly, and converted into operational improvements.
• Partner with Connected Solutions facilities in Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, and other NEP locations.
