[Hiring] Veterinary Clinic Relations Specialist @Lap of Love

Role Description

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice seeks an empathetic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our dynamic team as a Veterinary Clinic Relations Specialist located in the Austin, TX area. Our team engages the veterinary community and helps educate them on Lap of Love’s end-of-life veterinary services for pet families, including:

• In-home euthanasia
• Hospice
• Telehospice
• Pet loss support

The Veterinary Clinic Relations Specialist collaborates with our veterinarians to educate new, underserved, and expanding markets on Lap of Love’s services. This role requires up to 75% travel as you will represent Lap of Love in the markets we serve across the United States.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Travel to veterinary conferences and clinics across the United States (75% travel)
• Educate veterinary practices on the benefits of recommending Lap of Love
• Visit a minimum of 2 Lap of Love markets per month and deliver educational material
• Provide new ideas, trends, and tips to strengthen relationships
• Attend national conferences and events to promote Lap of Love
• Report and track results from visits, events, and meetings

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of sales or outreach experience, preferably in the veterinary industry
• Live within 45 minutes of a major airport
• Top-notch oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build new relationships
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and G Suite
• Confident, independent thinker, and self-starter
• Excellent listening and critical thinking skills
• Strong leadership skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote role
• Some evening and weekend availability may be necessary
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient, client, and business information
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines
