As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our network of security vendors and ensuring that staffing needs are met efficiently and reliably. • Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with security vendors and contractors
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and communications
• Track vendor performance, compliance, and availability across active assignments
• Coordinate with internal teams to match vendor resources with client staffing needs
• Maintain accurate vendor records, contracts, and documentation in company systems
• Assist in negotiating rates and terms with vendors under company guidelines
• Monitor vendor adherence to licensing, insurance, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare regular reports on vendor activity, costs, and performance metrics
• Resolve vendor-related issues and escalate concerns to management as needed
• Support the recruitment and vetting process for new vendor partners
• Collaborate with scheduling and operations teams to ensure timely coverage
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in vendor management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• 0-2 years of experience in vendor management, staffing, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and vendor management or CRM software
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and colleagues
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation
• Basic understanding of contracts, pricing, and vendor agreements
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Familiarity with the security or investigations industry is a plus
