[Hiring] Value Analysis Manager @MultiCare Health System

Role Description

The Manager - Value Analysis develops a long term, sustainable strategy for reducing non-labor expense, enhancing clinical supply chain performance, and improving clinical resource management contributing to the quality of patient care. The incumbent collaborates with clinical, administrative, and staff across the healthcare system and within a defined organizational committee structure to identify, develop and coordinate strategies for process improvement and cost savings opportunities related to improved product, technology, service and process standardization and utilization to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered, cost effective care, results-oriented project outcomes and value analysis best practices.

• Reviews and assesses applicable financial, clinical, and operational data, along with evidence based literature.
• Assists in the selection, evaluation, monitoring, analysis and implementation of cost-effective products, technologies, services and processes.
• Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Advanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
• Certified Materials & Resource Professional certification and project management skills are strongly preferred
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Finance experience with at least two years in a healthcare setting
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a Supervisory or lead capacity
• Formal training in Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement programs is preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $141,045.00 - $202,987.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
