[Hiring] US Mortgage Loan Processor – Submission Specialist @People Partners

Role Description

As a US Mortgage Loan Processor – Submission Specialist, you’ll play a key role in preparing and submitting mortgage loan files with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

• Review documentation, execute quality control checks, run AUS findings, and ensure files are submission-ready before reaching underwriting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple active files.
• Confidence working across lender portals and mortgage systems.
• Work closely with loan officers and internal stakeholders to keep the loan pipeline moving smoothly.
• Minimize lender conditions and submission issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage processing, submission, underwriting support, or related mortgage experience.
• Strong understanding of AUS systems (DU and/or LP).
• Experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
• Ability to interpret underwriting findings.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and lender portals.
• Reliable remote working setup and stable internet connection.
• Ability to work US Eastern Time hours.

Requirements

• Experience using Arive LOS.
• Experience with FHA, VA, and USDA loan processes.
• FHA case number ordering experience.
• VA COE verification experience.
• Knowledge of income calculation and asset sourcing.
• Exposure to pre-submission QC or loan auditing.
• Familiarity with Airtable or workflow tracking tools.
