Role Description
TPAPT is currently seeking remote tutors to join our team and provide academic support to local school programs in various K12 subjects.
As a remote tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students in small group settings, helping them achieve their academic goals and giving them the tools they need to succeed.
- Start date: June 17, 2024
- Pay range: $14-$16/hr
- Materials provided: Yes, iXL online curriculum
- Subject(s): ELA and Math grades 1 to 6
- Hours: 10-15 hours per week during the school day
- Classification: Employee
- Location: United States, Remote, Eastern Time Zone
Responsibilities
- Conduct online instructional sessions for individuals or small groups using our curriculum.
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans based on students' individual needs.
- Provide clear explanations and examples to help students understand difficult concepts.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be fluent in both English and Arabic.
- PA certification in Elementary Education, Early Childhood, or Special Education
- Experience tutoring or teaching K12 students, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject matter being taught.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple students and assignments.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
