[Hiring] TSA OSH Specialist @R&K Enterprise Solutions

Role Description

R&K is seeking a Full-Time OSH Specialist for the Southeast Region.

• Plan, organize, schedule, implement, control, analyze, and report on all elements of the OSH support services contract.
• Provide professional OSH support and outreach to assist TSA establishments with local implementation of the OSH program.
• Conduct formal annual safety and health inspections of TSA workplaces, documenting potential OSH hazards and regulatory violations.
• Investigate and track corrective actions from employee notices of unsafe conditions and inspections.
• Collaborate with local leaders and safety officials to abate findings and communicate actions for closure.
• Investigate and track corrective actions from employee injuries and identify contributing factors.
• Conduct ergonomic, industrial hygiene, and indoor air quality studies at TSA worksites.
• Document and manage OSH activities in TSA's Safety Information System (SIS).
• Ensure 100% Quality Assessments (QA) of information entered into SIS.
• Support the OSH evaluation program through injury rate reduction goals.
• Assist in the review of trends and metrics for developing OSH communications and guidance documents.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more Occupational Health & Safety experience.
• Professional certification (i.e., Certified Industrial Hygienist or Certified Safety Professional) is desired.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Must be able to travel to major hub airports in the Southeast Region (VA, NC, TN, AR, LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, FL).
• A Public Trust background check is required.
• Start Date: Upon Approval.
