Role Description

We are seeking experienced Fiber Splicers to support major OSP fiber deployment projects throughout the United States. This is a travel-based, full-time direct-hire opportunity. Candidates may live anywhere in the U.S., and relocation is not required.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with:

• Fusion splicing
• OTDR testing
• Ribbon fiber
• Loose tube fiber
• Troubleshooting fiber networks in both aerial and underground environments

Responsibilities include:

• Perform fusion splicing on OSP fiber optic networks
• Complete ribbon fiber and loose tube splicing
• Conduct fiber testing and troubleshooting using OTDR, power meters, and light source equipment
• Read splice diagrams, cut sheets, and construction documentation
• Work in both aerial and underground fiber environments
• Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards
• Document test results and project completion information

Qualifications

• Proven OSP Fiber Splicing experience
• Fusion splicing experience beyond simple drop installations
• Experience with ribbon and loose tube fiber
• OTDR testing and troubleshooting experience
• Experience working in aerial and underground fiber environments
• Ability to read splice diagrams and cut sheets
• Willingness to travel on a 3-4 week rotation
• Strong attendance and reliability

Requirements

• Compensation: $30 - $36 per hour
• Per diem: $150 per day
• Full-time direct hire
• Long-term project opportunities
• Nationwide travel assignments
• Future project opportunities available after completion of current assignments

Location

📍 Nationwide Travel Position. Candidates may reside anywhere in the United States. Current projects include Memphis, TN, with additional opportunities available in future markets as construction expands.
