Role Description

Dewberry is seeking a Transportation Model Manager (Bentley Systems) to join our Florida Transportation team. In this role, you will use your Bentley transportation modeling expertise to partner directly with project teams and own the digital backbone of assigned roadway and bridge projects. This is a project‑facing role that works alongside project managers, task leads, and production teams to keep OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and OpenBridge Modeler (OBM) deliverables stable, standards‑based, and submittal‑ready throughout the project lifecycle.

As a Transportation Model Manager, you will:

• Proactively manage model health and common data environments.
• Support disciplined model integration and clash detection workflows.
• Help produce precise, contract‑compliant digital deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of OpenRoad Designer (ORD) and/or OpenBridge Modeler (OBM) experience in FDOT production workflows.
• Strong understanding of CAD/BIM standards, PxP requirements, and ProjectWise model governance best practices.
• Experience supporting multi-discipline coordination and model integration on infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with clash detection and issue coordination workflows and DOT digital delivery requirements.

Requirements

• Professional engineering (PE) licensure (preferred).
• Experience with Bentley Infrastructure Cloud (BIC) (preferred).
• Knowledge of interoperability and exchange formats (LandXML, IFC, IMX, KML/KMZ, SHP, GeoJSON) (preferred).
• Experience in graphic design, modeling, rendering, animations and other visualization development (preferred).
• Familiarity with Bluebeam for markup and coordination (preferred).
• Familiarity with workflow automation and efficiency tools (e.g., Python) (preferred).
