Role Description

We are looking to add Liability Commercial adjusters with Bodily Injury and Litigation experience to our rapidly growing Transportation division.

• Primarily responsible for handling and investigating high exposure third party property damage and bodily injury claims on a multi-state basis.
• Work efficiently and effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and outside vendors to confirm coverage, determine liability, and evaluate damages through timely and diligent claim investigations.
• Hold a valid Texas license with the ability to quickly secure reciprocal licenses in other states.
• Requires a high level of personal motivation and self-discipline and the ability to work independently with minimum direct supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Analyze and apply coverage on both routine and complex claims.
• Adjudicate claims in an expeditious and professional manner.
• Set and maintain diaries.
• Complete client reporting timely.
• Control loss adjustment expenses, recommend and manage reserves.
• Document all correspondence, reports, discussions, and decisions in the claims system.
• Notify management of any situations which may affect the underlying claim.

Qualifications

• Prefer minimum of 3 years commercial transportation experience.
• Superior report writing skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Effective communicator.
• Holds a valid Texas all lines license (Florida, New Mexico, and other licenses a plus).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Above average computer skills.
• Team player.
• Litigation experience is required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
