This is a Permanent, Full Time opportunity.

Expected Salary Range: $63,943.00 - $79,928.00 - $99,909.00. Our typical hiring range will be +/- 5% of the midpoint shown above. Factors influencing this decision include qualifications and market conditions for the role.

Our technicians provide the technical expertise to maintain our casino gaming equipment in our casino facilities, deliver an exceptional experience for our players when they encounter issues and ensure we are leveraging our product to drive value for both our service providers and BCLC. Technicians collaborate and build trusting relationships with internal & external stakeholders. In larger facilities, you will assign work to others, while in smaller locations, you will operate independently. This position reports to a Manager of Business Operations and may require occasional travel to a secondary location within the region.

Qualifications

• Recognized technical degree or diploma in electronics or technology support.
• 3 to 4 years previous technical (hardware) experience or a related background is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and apply internal control concepts, verifications and procedural review requirements.
• Ability to compile and analyse information and make informed decisions.
• Ability to be effective working as a part of a team and individually.
• Organizational skills that include attention to detail.
• Ability to deal with sensitive matters with integrity and a degree of diplomacy, tact and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical thinking/innovation.
• Strong computer skills – MS office suite.
• Develop an understanding of Casino operation and associated repairs.
• Develop an understanding of Casino Standards, Policies and Procedures.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of the gaming systems and modules, the communications rack and its functionality.
• Ability to work flexible hours (shift work).
• Ability to work at multiple locations within a set region.
• Ability to lift 25kg is required.

Requirements

• Problem solve to ensure all BCLC gaming equipment is in good working condition and operational.
• Provide customer service and investigate incidents related to player complaints.
• Execute project plans and move machines within the casino environment.
• Collaborate on team projects and be able to lift 25kg yourself in a safe manner.
• Stay relevant with evolving technology with the various gaming equipment.
