[Hiring] Technical Specialist - InfluxDB DBA @Datavail

Role Description

The Technical Specialist – InfluxDB3.0 DBA will be responsible for:

• Good knowledge of InfluxDB 3.0 and Database Architecture.
• Installing and configuring InfluxDB using source code, RPM, and one-click installation on-prem and Cloud Technologies.
• InfluxDB3.0 patch management.
• Handling Database Logical and Physical Backups.
• Restoration techniques on InfluxDB3.0 and point in time recovery (PITR).
• Applying database patches from lower version to higher version.
• Major and Minor upgrades of InfluxDB3.0 DB's on multiple platforms (dump/restore & upgrade).
• Implementing InfluxDB3.0 DR servers and load balancing using tools.
• Streaming Replication (Including Cascading Replication).
• Configuring InfluxDB3.0 for connection pooling.
• Generating statistic reports based on InfluxDB log files.
• Handling Database corruption issues.
• InfluxDB3.0 Migration for multiple clients.
• Strong knowledge of InfluxDB3.0 configuration parameters for tuning DB health.
• Managing Users and Tablespace on InfluxDB3.0 Servers.
• Configuring Heterogeneous DB connections between InfluxDB3.0 and others.
• Shell scripts for performing Online Backup and maintenance activities.
• Setting up InfluxDB3.0 Cluster.
• Query Tuning and performance improvement.
• Tuning parameter group and configuring cluster for InfluxDB3.0.
• Configuring InfluxDB3.0 Logs to push to S3 Bucket.
• Reviewing performance Metrics and query tuning on InfluxDB3.0.
• Configuring Query Store and Analytics workspace on InfluxDB3.0.

Qualifications

• Education: Any Graduate
• Experience: 8+ years
• Location: Remote working

• Strong experience in handling Database Logical and Physical Backups.
• Expertise in Applying database patches from lower version to higher version.
• Strong experience in Query Tuning and performance improvement.
• Experience on Reviewing performance Metrics and query tuning on InfluxDB3.0.
