[Hiring] Technical Solutions Engineer @Elation Health

Role Description

Elation’s Technical Solutions Engineer is both highly technical and a skilled relationship builder. They are comfortable discussing integration needs with a customer CEO and sketching out an API flow on a whiteboard. They deliver technical wins and strong product fit with customer accounts, building trust in Elation solutions and setting customers up for success during implementation and beyond.

In this role, you will play a key part in how Elation and our customers embrace AI and automation—using our Developer platform, data, and AI-powered capabilities to improve efficiency and outcomes for clinicians, staff, and internal teams.

• Provide peer-to-peer mentorship and coaching to Technical Solutions Associates, focusing on building skills in Elation’s Developer platform and AI-powered capabilities.
• Serve as an internal and external subject matter expert on the capabilities of Elation’s Developer platform and AI-powered tools to support customer success.
• Own and maintain technical workflow and sequence diagrams as reference architectures for customer integrations and common internal use cases.
• Develop and maintain best practices, templates, and sample implementations that promote self-service, reuse, and intelligent automation.
• Advise on and, when needed, create complex queries, reports, and data pipelines leveraging the hosted database and analytics tooling.
• Lead or advise customer pilots and proof-of-concept implementations, including those that leverage AI to reduce manual work.
• Partner with customers on technical design, integrations, and product features to best utilize Elation’s platform.
• Act as a conduit between customers and internal teams, systematically capturing technical feedback.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Customer Success, Sales, and Professional Services.
• Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement around AI and automation within Customer Services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant professional experience supporting the growth of a software platform.
• Previous software development experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Experience with Python, Java, C#, or other popular server-side languages.
• Experience building with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL queries including basic JOINs and subqueries.
• Experience using modern AI-assisted development and productivity tools.
• Ability to communicate complex technical principles to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on, high-energy, passionate and creative problem solver.
• Knowledge of, or strong interest in, the US healthcare industry and common technologies used is a plus.

Requirements

• Salary: $85,000 - 110,000k/yr USD.
