Role Description

As a Technical Cleaning Operative, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across various locations by performing specialist and cleaning tasks. This includes:

• Deep cleaning
• Biohazard and crime scene cleaning
• Window and high-level cleaning
• Floor maintenance to meet company and client requirements

The role contributes to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for clients and the public while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining hard surface floors, carpets, and upholstery.
• Operating floor care machinery (buffers, scrubbers, etc.).
• Deep cleaning washrooms, windows, and high surfaces.
• Graffiti and exterior cladding cleaning.
• Emergency response cleaning (trauma, crime scenes, hazardous materials).
• Adhering to Health & Safety protocols and proper equipment use.
• Professional interaction with clients and site staff.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work varied shifts.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Must be willing to have the Level 2 Police Clearance, which will be paid for by the company.
• Valid driver’s license (category B) and a willingness to travel is essential to this role.
