Role Description

Zifo is seeking a motivated Technical Business Analyst to support scientific platform implementations and digital transformation initiatives within life sciences organizations. This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, helping translate scientific and operational needs into clear requirements and actionable solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an interest in scientific informatics and technology-enabled process improvement. Working alongside senior consultants, project teams, and customer stakeholders, this individual will contribute to:

• Requirements gathering
• Process analysis

• Testing

• Implementation support

This role provides a strong foundation for growth into informatics consulting, product management, or solution leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or a related field
• Exposure to life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, clinical, laboratory, or regulated environments
• Knowledge of data management, system implementation, validation, or software delivery practices
• Interest in scientific data, digital transformation, and emerging technologies
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to travel based on project and business needs

Requirements

• Participate in and support discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and business process reviews
• Gather, document, analyze, and validate business, functional, and user requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, process flows, workflows, and supporting documentation
• Support backlog refinement and prioritization
• Assist with business process analysis and support the identification of opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation
• Create and maintain project artifacts including requirements documents, user stories, process maps, decision logs, testing documentation, and training materials
• Support software implementation and scientific platform launch activities across laboratory informatics and scientific data management systems
• Participate in and support Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, including system testing, user acceptance testing, implementation, validation, and post-launch support
• Assist in troubleshooting, documenting, and tracking system defects, enhancement requests, and implementation issues
• Assist with organizational change management and user adoption initiatives
• Collaborate and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams consisting of consultants, developers, project managers, product owners, and customer stakeholders
