[Hiring] Team Leader, Construction Defect Claims @AmTrust Financial Services, Inc.

Role Description

AmTrust Financial Services, a fast-growing commercial insurance company, is seeking experienced Construction Defect Claims Leaders across multiple levels, including Manager, Senior Manager, and Director. These leadership roles will provide oversight of Construction Defect claim teams handling varying levels of claim severity and complexity. This position can be located in one of our claims offices, with the possibility of working remotely.

Depending on level and experience, responsibilities may include:

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in commercial claims, with opportunities available for candidates ranging from Manager to Director level dependent on years in industry
• Significant experience handling and/or managing Construction Defect claims preferred
• Strong understanding of coverage analysis, liability, litigation management, damages evaluation, and insurance claim practices
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop claims professionals
• Demonstrated success managing performance, driving operational results, and influencing outcomes
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple responsibilities
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of autonomy and leadership responsibility
• Proficiency with claims systems and business technology platforms
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid adjuster's license in appropriate jurisdictions or ability to obtain one

Requirements

• The expected salary range for this role is $125,000-$165,000 annual
