[Hiring] Surplus Lines Analyst @EPIC Brokers

Role Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurately submit surplus lines filings for assigned states.
• Process surplus lines tax returns for all assigned states before due dates.
• Coordinate payment of surplus lines taxes by appropriate due dates.
• Maintain accurate files on shared drive.
• Work with surplus lines stamping offices and state agencies to resolve any discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with and assist in educating the account teams.
• Reconcile reports and coordinate with accounting.
• Utilize InsCipher for filings and reports.

Qualifications

• Surplus lines experience helpful.
• Property & Casualty Insurance background helpful.
• Accounting experience helpful.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Be a team player/collaborate with all colleagues as needed.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret surplus lines regulations and requirements.
• Be able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Excellent follow up skills.
• Able to navigate the internet.
