Role Description

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Verbal and Written Communication with Clients, Health Insurance Plans, and Third-Party Lien Holders to obtain Health Plan Information and set up Third Party Lien Accounts
• Review of Medical Records, Billing Statements and Explanation of Benefits to Determine a Health Plans interest in a Case
• Audit Lien Itemization for Accident Related Services and Request Amended Liens
• Identify Primary, Secondary, Tertiary Plans pertaining to Federal, State and Private Health Plans
• Ability to Handle Volume in a Fast Paced Environment
• Collection of Medical Records and Bills

Requirements

• Required to have 1 year of stable (same place) work experience with college degree (customer service preferred)
• Required to have 2-3 years of stable work experience if no college degree
• Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year university or Associate's Degree with 1 year experience
