[Hiring] Study Start-up Associate @ICON plc

Role Description

As a Study Start Up Associate I at ICON, you will facilitate the initiation of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

Your role will involve delivering site start-up and activation work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders.

• Assists in authoring/contributing to clinical trial start up documents and trial related plans developed by CROs and vendors.
• Assists the SSU team with reporting, meeting minutes, presentation slides, and document tracking and filing.
• Manages the documenting of study related issues and escalations, and communicates as appropriate with SSU Manager/SB&C Manager.
• Maintains knowledge and acts as team super user or subject matter expert for related systems and processes.
• Maintains up to date training record attending internal/external training(s) as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience in start up (Study Coordinator, CTA or Start up Associate).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks according to deadlines.
• Ability to take ownership and manage tasks as well as communicate effectively.
• Ability to collaborate with others to drive deliverables forward.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
