With nearly two decades of leadership bringing the Science of Reading to thousands of schools, we design innovative products, training, and materials that transform how educators teach and how students learn.

The Strategic Literacy Solutions Engineer brings expertise into RGR’s most complex and high-impact opportunities. Working alongside Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, this role helps district and state leaders understand how RGR solutions can support their instructional priorities, implementation goals, and desired student outcomes.

The Strategic Literacy Solutions Engineer is an instructional expert, strategic advisor, and go-to-market partner supporting RGR’s largest and most complex opportunities.

You’ll bring deep literacy expertise into conversations with district and state leaders, uncover instructional needs, connect those needs to RGR solutions, and help shape approaches that are instructionally sound and practical to implement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of K–12 education experience.
• Deep expertise in the Science of Reading and foundational literacy instruction.
• Experience engaging district-level leaders and/or supporting district-level initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder decisions.
• Experience supporting complex sales, solution consulting, partnership, or adoption cycles.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, consulting, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate literacy research and instructional needs into practical solutions.
• Ability to balance instructional credibility with business and revenue objectives.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Classroom teaching experience (preferred).
• District-level literacy leadership experience (preferred).
• Experience engaging state-level education agencies or leaders (preferred).
• Experience in EdTech, curriculum, or educational publishing (preferred).
• Experience supporting large district or state-level opportunities (preferred).
• Experience presenting at conferences, leadership events, or other large-scale professional settings (preferred).
