Role Description
You will provide first-line customer-facing post-sales support for Ethernet/PCIe controller/serdes IPs, HBM controller/PHY, and UCIe controller/PHY.
- Work with R&D and provide updates to PM.
- Provide remote and onsite post-sales silicon bring up support to customers worldwide.
- Develop APIs and ATE vectors and work with our teams to resolve customer issues.
- Report to VP of sales.
These tasks may include the following integration and support services:
- Verilog model integration and simulation (Pre-Silicon)
- GDS Physical Integration and Floor planning (Pre-Silicon)
- Design for Test Integration (Pre-Silicon)
- SerDes EVB and system testing (Pre-Silicon)
- ATE testing (Post-Silicon)
- Product Bring Up and Validation (Post-Silicon)
- Product Characterization and Qualification (Post-Silicon)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- MSEE with 7+ years of experience in IP/Library Design/Support (standard cells, memories, I/O's, Analog Blocks, etc.)/Application Engineering.
- Experience with Front-end or Back-end (Including HSPICE) tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor.
- Experience in analog/mixed signal designs and DDRX PHYs/SerDes.
- Experience with IP design, ASIC Design Flow, and integration related issues.
- Proficient in writing scripts for automation.
- Prior experience in customer facing roles.
Requirements
- Experience with PCIe and Ethernet Serdes.
- Experience with industry standard simulators, timing analysis, firmware, hardware debug.
- Experience creating API-C test cases/DPI-C functions for configuring registers.
- Experience working with lab equipment such as BERT, real-time scopes, sampling scopes, VNA, and protocol analyzers.
- Experience with lab automation software such as Python and Labview.
- Experience with one or more: firmware, low-level programming, optimizing embedded C code, hardware debug.
- Experience with Jira, Agile/Scrum, Confluence.
- Knowledge of EDA tools, understanding of simulators.
