[Hiring] Sr. Program Coordinator, Health Science, Implementation @American Heart Association

Role Description

The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Program Coordinator, Health Science, Implementation. This is a 20-hour-per-week, part-time position that can be home-based. This is a part-time, grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on June 30, 2029, with the possibility of extension.

• Support Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP) implementation.
• Assist with various national CPR initiatives.
• Provide administrative/logistical support to help achieve health impact and revenue goals.
• Access to Heart U, our award-winning corporate university, and additional training and support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Advanced project management, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including skill in proofreading for grammar and spelling.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a professional manner in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Preferred experience:
• Knowledge of CPR and Hands-Only CPR training options.
• Knowledge of the American Heart Association mission and initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to fully understand and support assigned initiatives and programs.
• Ensure a high quality of service is provided to all staff, community partners, and volunteers.
• Coordinate logistics for assigned events, meetings, and programs.
• Provide day-of-event support as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and stay current on department and association-wide updates.
• Perform other duties as needed to achieve department and association-wide goals.
