Role Description
The Senior Health & Safety Incident Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of the incident management program, including:
- Creation and implementation of risk assessment registry
- Tactical and strategic implementation of risk control methods, policies, and operating procedures
- Championing incident prevention strategies
- Monitoring leading/lagging KPIs
- Supporting field & supply chain operations in all H&S matters
- Ensuring associates finish their workday the same, or better than when they started
- Maintaining and exceeding regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Continuously improving best practices related to Safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 4-6 years Progressive health and safety experience Required
- 1-3 years Experience with other parts of the business Preferred
- Safety Certification(s) Preferred
- Strong commercial, investigation, strategic and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive significant, positive impact across a large-scale operating company
- Experience in OSHA Federal & State requirements, incident management, investigation & risk identification
- Deep knowledge of State/Federal regulations, OSHA definitions, NIOSH and ACGIH recommendations
- Experience with a growth organization focused on culture and engagement
- Experience in participating in national initiatives with heavy change management requirements
