Mar 29, 2025 - Seattle Children's Hospital is hiring a remote Sr Grant & Contract Administrator. 💸 Salary: $95,270.00 - $142,904.00 per year. 📍Location: USA.
Role Description
Responsible for managing a highly complex portfolio of grants, including:
- Grant and contract proposal preparation
- Fiscal process review and budget development
- Effort management
- Closeout and reporting oversight
- Maintenance of grant management tracking systems
Will serve as a liaison between:
- The Center Business Office
- Principal Investigators (PIs)
- Fiscal and administrative support personnel
- Clinical research staff
- Central Research Support Services divisions
Develop strategies to optimize grant and contract management processes.
Please note: this is primarily a remote position with flexibility to be based in the following states: Washington, Florida, Georgia, Montana, and Alaska.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least seven (7) years administrative and/or management experience OR 5 years experience and professional certification (CRA, CPA, or equivalent)
- At least three (3) years experience managing federal and non-federal grant application/award processes and post-award grants management
- Knowledge of OMB Omni Circular, NIH policies and procedures and other federal sponsor policies and procedures
- Knowledge with sponsor forms and systems including NIH ASSIST, eRA Commons, proposal CENTRAL, DoD, American Heart Association, etc.
- Experience engaging in and maintaining standard operating procedures documentation, job aids, internal quality management tools or continuous process improvement initiatives

- Required Credentials: N/A
- Preferred: Certified Research Administrator
- Familiarity with Seattle Children’s and UW fiscal processes and systems
- Supervisory experience
Compensation Range
$95,270.00 - $142,904.00 per year
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle; positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
