Role Description

The Hospital Operations Specialist – Spine plays a critical role in advancing commercial execution, operational discipline, and field readiness across the Spine business. This position is responsible for partnering with Field Sales leadership, Supply Chain, Finance, and Hospital Operations stakeholders to optimize inventory deployment, improve asset utilization, and ensure the right instrumentation and implants are positioned to support procedural demand, customer commitments, and growth objectives.

The role requires a strong balance of analytical capability, operational execution, and cross-functional influence, with responsibilities spanning:

• Inventory optimization
• Asset redeployment
• Trunk stock and PAR alignment
• Field issue resolution
• Data analysis and reporting
• Support for new product introductions or field conversions

By translating operational data into actionable insights and driving disciplined execution across assigned geographies, the Hospital Operations Specialist helps:

• Reduce excess inventory
• Improve working capital efficiency
• Strengthen case coverage reliability
• Enable scalable growth

This role serves as a key connection point between commercial strategy and field execution, ensuring business priorities are supported with clear processes, timely communication, and measurable operational outcomes.

You will be responsible for:

• Partnering with Field Sales leadership to optimize inventory levels and support growth initiatives.
• Leading inventory optimization efforts including set balancing, trunk stock reduction, and PAR alignment.
• Driving asset redeployment initiatives including pullbacks, reallocation, and redistribution of inventory.
• Analyzing inventory and financial data to provide actionable insights.
• Supporting new product introductions and field conversions with proper asset allocation.
• Executing system transactions in SAP or equivalent systems to support asset movement.
• Managing field support requests and resolving inventory-related issues impacting case coverage.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
• Supporting development of dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Driving change management and adoption of inventory strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field)

Requirements

• 4+ years in Hospital Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Cross-functional collaboration experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
