Role Description

• Answer calls promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol avoiding omissions or additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation and polite expressions.
• Maintain a professional demeanour throughout the call at all times.
• Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours.
• Follow client instructions, in compliance with protocol to ensure client expectations are met with the Limited English-speaking Person (LEP), avoiding interaction with the LEP without client’s permission.
• Purely interpretation; no dealing with escalation or providing resolution.

Qualifications

• Excellent English and Fluent in Sorani (Able to read & write).
• Malaysian Nationals / Permanent Residence with sound knowledge in both languages.

Requirements

• Must be working from home 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client (shift will fall anytime between 8pm – 8 am, 9 hours shift inclusive of an hour break).
• Own home internet (stable internet), minimum of 5MB download and 1MB upload speed.
• Need own mobile phone Android Version 6 and above or iOS 12 and above.
• Willing to work permanent night shift and must be willing to work on public holidays and weekends.

• Salary: RM 30 Per hour / around RM 4800.00 per month approximately.
