Role Description

We're looking for a proactive, highly organized Virtual Assistant to support a growing social media management agency. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience with social media community management, creator partnerships, and digital marketing operations. You'll work directly with the agency founder to help manage multiple client accounts, streamline backend operations, and take ownership of recurring administrative and marketing tasks. Initially, this is a part-time (approximately 20 hours/week) position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Community Management
  • Monitor and respond to Instagram and TikTok comments and direct messages in each client's unique brand voice.
  • Repost client stories and user-generated content (UGC).
  • Flag comments, messages, or customer issues that require escalation.
  • Maintain consistent engagement across client accounts.
• Affiliate & Influencer Marketing
  • Learn and manage the affiliate platform Endless.io.
  • Coordinate affiliate relationships and campaigns.
  • Research platform best practices and become the internal expert.
  • Assist with influencer outreach and communication with micro-creators.
• Content & Asset Management
  • Organize raw photo and video files after content shoots.
  • Label, categorize, and prepare content for editors and clients.
  • Deliver organized assets efficiently using cloud storage systems.
• Social Media Operations
  • Support day-to-day management across:
    • Instagram
    • TikTok
    • YouTube
    • LinkedIn
    • Substack
  • Stay current on platform updates, especially TikTok Shop and emerging social commerce features.
  • Recommend workflow improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Administrative Support
  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate occasional travel logistics (flights, hotels, rental cars, etc.).
  • Help keep projects organized and moving forward.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting social media brands or agencies.
• Excellent written English with strong grammar and natural conversational communication.
• Ability to write in a tone that feels authentic to U.S.-based brands.
• Experience with Instagram and TikTok community management.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning new software independently.
• Excellent communication and responsiveness.
• Self-starter who can identify better ways to complete recurring tasks.

Compensation

• $600 - $800 a month
• Approximately 20 hours per week to start.
• Remote position.
• Opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the business grows.
• Must be available during U.S. business hours (Pacific Time preferred).
