Role Description

This role exists to take landing page builds and recurring marketing execution off the founder's plate. Right now, the founder is personally building Shopify landing pages and handling marketing tasks that don't require his attention — which caps how fast the business can move. You'll own the hands-on work: standing up and iterating landing pages that convert, and absorbing the steady stream of marketing tasks that keep the brand running. This is a doer role for someone who likes ownership, moves fast, and doesn't need a playbook handed to them.

Key Responsibilities

• Shopify & Landing Pages
  • Build, edit, and optimize Shopify landing pages and product pages using the theme editor or page builders (Shogun, PageFly, or Replo).
  • Make front-end adjustments with HTML, CSS, and light Liquid (spacing, layout, custom sections).
  • Manage product uploads, collections, and merchandising updates.
  • Run and iterate on A/B tests to improve conversion.
• Marketing Execution
  • Update banners and some small content on our brands each week to keep things fresh, typically by midnight PST.
  • Support paid and organic campaigns: assets, landing pages, basic reporting.
  • Edit simple graphics and creative edits (Canva/Figma) for pages.
  • Keep the site and campaigns updated for promotions and product launches.
• Ongoing Operations
  • Own the recurring, miscellaneous marketing tasks that come off the founder's plate.
  • Track basic performance metrics and flag what's working and what isn't.

Qualifications

• 2+ years working hands-on in Shopify (theme editor, page builders, front-end edits).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic Liquid.
• Experience building marketing emails/flows (Klaviyo or comparable).
• Strong written English and clear, proactive communication.
• Self-directed — can take a loose request and run with it without hand-holding.

Preferred Qualifications

• Custom Shopify theme or app development experience.
• CRO/A/B testing background.
• Paid media familiarity (Meta, Google).
• DTC or consumer brand experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are highly organized and self-managing. You're equally comfortable inside a code editor and a Figma file. You move fast, catch details, and would rather own an outcome than wait for instructions. You read a half-formed request and come back with the thing done — not with ten clarifying questions. You care about how a page performs, not just how it looks.
