[Hiring] Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner @King'S Insurance Staffing

Role Description

Our client is seeking to add a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to join their Texas team. This is a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will have experience managing moderate to complex Texas Workers' Compensation claims from inception through closure, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate excellent customer service abilities. This role requires an active Texas Adjuster's License and a thorough understanding of Texas Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.

• Handle moderate to complex TX workers' compensation claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.
• Conduct thorough investigations, manage medical treatment, influence early full return-to-work, guide litigation and control claim outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
• Active file management, effective reserving practices, participation in training activities, presentation of serious claims to committee and supervision of litigated files.
• Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department Best Practices.

Qualifications

• 5 - 7+ years of Workers' Compensation Claims handling experience
• Must be well versed in Texas Workers’ Compensation Law
• Active TX Adjuster’s License required
• Litigation experience required
• Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills
• High School Diploma: Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
