[Hiring] Senior Underwriting Representative @Tailored Management

Role Description

The Underwriting Account Senior Representative, within Client's Supplemental Benefits, contributes to the Underwriting process through the handling of all Medicare Supplement, Health and Life underwritten applications.

• Review medical history, data, and interviews employing critical thinking skills
• Operating third-party software to summarize application medical and health data
• Provide written correspondence, to the applicant or broker, regarding outstanding application requirements

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required
• 2+ years insurance or medical experience required, preferably medical insurance or PBM background
• Medical terminology preferred
• Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize workload independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical conditions/prescriptions

Requirements

• Fully remote
• M-F, Standard Business Hours
• Target Start Date: 08/17/2026, pending completion of new hire onboarding
• Duration: 8 months (opportunity for extension or conversion to FTE, depending on performance, attendance, and business needs)
• Pay Rate: $21.59/hr (Paid weekly)
