Role Description
C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Transportation Procurement Analyst to support a strategic customer by managing the execution of transportation bid events. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring seamless coordination between the customer, internal network, and account teams.
- Data preparation, rate submissions, system configuration, user training, strategy development, bid optimization and analysis
- Delivering results to the customer
- Acting as the primary point of contact and facilitating key project meetings
- Managing complex procurement projects while mastering group methodologies and procurement tools (Excel, Jaggaer ASO, etc.)
Key focus areas include:
- International air and ocean transportation bids
- Full truckload bids
- Special procurement projects
- Less-than-truckload (in partnership with internal specialized teams)
This role offers a hybrid work environment, with in-person collaboration every two weeks in Monterrey, Mexico, and the flexibility of remote work the rest of the time—combining teamwork with autonomy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of domestic (full truckload) transportation or transportation management experience
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience
- Flexibility to work occasional nights/weekends
- Ability to travel up to 5% (0-2 times per year)
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
