Role Description

The Technical Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between customers and software development teams, ensuring business needs are accurately translated into system and functional requirements. This role is responsible for:

• Gathering requirements and creating business and technical documentation.
• Supporting business process improvements.
• Collaborating with development and quality assurance teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensuring successful delivery of product enhancements, system changes, and production releases.
• Staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.

This is a remote position and candidates must live within the United States with the exception of California. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Interacting with customers to gather system requirements.
• Defining the system and functional requirements of the product.
• Preparing business requirements and functional specifications.
• Serving as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities.
• Assisting the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
• Performing application, system, and regression tests.
• Creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
• Working with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
• Interacting with technical teams to convey business requirements.
• Working with industry research groups to prepare for product trends.
• Performing other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Technical Business Analyst.
• Must have 2 years of experience in Oracle Fusion ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or SCM (Supply Chain Management).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Experience in ERP Security, Report Writing, ADO/Jira, ServiceNow.
• Wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work on complex and diverse projects.
• In-depth evaluation of variable factors required for analysis.
• Good judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
• Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• General knowledge of the financial industry.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good grammar and writing skills.
• Able to define system and functional requirements.
• Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Able to interact with and communicate well with other technical associates.
