Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Security Implementation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing Palo Alto Networks security solutions and a strong foundation in networking. The role is client-facing, and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering project services to our clients, ensuring the effective implementation and optimization of security solutions.
- Conduct client consultations to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and assess security needs.
- Design, implement, and configure Palo Alto Networks security solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within established timelines.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on security best practices, network architecture, and related technologies from vendors such as Check Point, Azure, and AWS.
- Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution during and after implementation phases, ensuring the stability and security of deployed solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies to provide proactive recommendations for enhancing clients' security postures.
- Act as a subject matter expert in client meetings, presenting technical information in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of team skills and capabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
- Solid foundational knowledge of networking principles and related technologies.
- Experience with security solutions from vendors such as Check Point, Azure, and AWS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Self-motivated, passionate about cybersecurity, and naturally curious about technology.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), AWS Certified Security - Specialty) are a plus.
