[Hiring] Senior Security Consultant - Electronic Security Systems @AECOM

Role Description

AECOM seeks a Senior Security Consultant to join the firm's Technology Solution Group for the Washington D.C. Metro Area.

• The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of integrated security systems and possess exceptional business and people skills.
• Manage the various design phases of complex security solutions.
• Ability to work independently and communicate in a confident, articulate, and sensitive manner is essential.
• Passion for design innovation and quality, balanced with efficiency and creativity in the development of design solutions.
• Manage relationships with the project team and meet with clients to document their technical and operational requirements.
• Develop integrated security solutions for a wide cross-section of clients utilizing various security solutions such as:
  • Surveillance systems
  • Access control
  • Intrusion detection
  • Visitor management
  • Voice communication systems
  • Integrated collaborative systems used in the security and control operation center environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Technology or related field + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Associate's degree plus 10 years of experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED + 12 years of experience.
  • AutoCAD/Revit experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Technology or related field + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Active Security Clearance is preferred.
  • Industry certifications: PSP, ESS, CPP, and RCDD.
  • A working knowledge of the AIA design process is also desirable.
  • Experience with Federal clients.

Requirements

• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
• Relocation is not available for this position.
