• Account Management
• Check for unpaid claim status, either electronically or by phone.
• Working with third party carriers or intermediaries.
• Following standard Operating Departmental Procedures to pursue prompt payment of Hospital claims for assigned financial classes and Payors.
• Responsible for collaborating with other departments to drive payer collections.
• Communicating process issues and improvements to the Patient Account Lead.
