[Hiring] Senior Outreach Program Coordinator @University of Texas at Austin

Role Description

This position will support the development and maintenance of the Texas Foster Youth Network's (TXFYN) statewide service directory and provider network. They will work directly to engage providers, maintain up-to-date referral information, and support youth- and provider-facing outreach activities.

• Conduct outreach calls, emails, and site visits. Follow up with providers. Serve as a point of contact for questions and encourage active participation in the Texas Foster Youth Network (TXFYN).
• Attend outreach events, regional meetings, and community fairs to promote the Texas Foster Youth Network (TXFYN), recruit providers, and strengthen community relationships.
• Update and maintain the statewide service directory and referral tracking system. Ensure provider information is accurate, complete, and current.
• Support partnership development. Prepare materials, schedule meetings, track follow-up tasks, and assist with Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) coordination. Assist in the preparation and distribution of outreach materials. Support provider training efforts through logistics, material development, and attendance tracking.
• Collect and report outreach metrics, monitor activity progress, and ensure all provider engagement is trauma-informed, youth-centered, and culturally responsive.
• Participate in institute functions such as trainings, supervision, staff meetings, events, and other activities. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field with at least 5 years of experience with program administration, program coordination, or other related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of systems impacting foster youth.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Values the contributions of others in the work environment.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Requirements

• Lived or work experience in foster care.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and youth development.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 - depending on qualifications.
• May work around standard office conditions.
• Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
• Ability to work remotely within the state of Texas.
• Work Shift: M-F, Flexible between 8am-6pm.
