[Hiring] Senior Mechanical Piping Estimator @Loenbro

Role Description

The Senior Industrial Mechanical/Piping Estimator is a key leader within the Estimating Group, responsible for developing accurate, competitive, and comprehensive mechanical construction estimates for complex industrial projects. This role oversees the entire process of bid production, including:

• Quantity takeoffs
• Labor and equipment analysis
• Material pricing
• Subcontractor evaluations
• Risk assessments for projects up to $75M or higher depending on scope and self-performance

The Senior Industrial Mechanical/Piping Estimator interprets mechanical drawings, piping and equipment specifications, isometrics, and contract documents to build detailed work breakdown structures and precise cost models.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial construction estimating, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID, Isometric drawings and other technical schematics
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Project Schedule and Excel Tracking

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred)
• Estimating experience with HCSS HeavyBid (preferred)
• Direct involvement in civil, concrete, structural steel, equipment setting, and mechanical construction (preferred)
• Scheduling experience with MSP or P6 (preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex bids simultaneously (preferred)
