Role Description

The Senior Manager, Vendor Contracting & Partnerships serves as WelbeHealth’s enterprise leader for vendor contracting strategy, governance, and partnership performance. This role owns the end-to-end contract lifecycle and establishes scalable standards, decision frameworks, and operating practices that strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and improve efficiency and stakeholder visibility to support WelbeHealth’s growth.

• Owns enterprise-wide vendor contracting strategy and governance.
• Combines strategic sourcing, complex negotiations, contract lifecycle management, and vendor performance.
• Shapes the organization’s vendor portfolio and strengthens strategic partnerships.
• Develops contracting practices that support operational excellence, financial sustainability, and high-quality care.

On the day-to-day, you will:

• Serve as WelbeHealth’s enterprise subject matter expert in vendor contracting.
• Own the development, standardization, adoption, and continual refinement of contract templates, playbooks, approval workflows, and governance standards.
• Lead strategic sourcing and vendor selection for complex, high-impact needs.
• Lead complex and high-value negotiations.
• Establish and maintain scalable contracting operating procedures, governance standards, and service expectations.
• Use portfolio, performance, risk, and spend insights to recommend priorities and improvement opportunities.
• Set the approach for vendor performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics, or contract management preferred.
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIP) or NVQ certifications a plus.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in strategic vendor contracting, procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Minimum of three (3) years of people leadership experience.
• Experience implementing and fostering adoption of contract management platforms (e.g., Jaggaer, Coupa, SAP Ariba).
• Executive-level communication and influence skills.
• Demonstrated experience using data-driven analysis to guide decisions.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex end-to-end contracting and vendor initiatives.
• Ability to travel to other WelbeHealth locations as needed.

• Experience in creating scalable vendor strategies that strengthen operations.
