Role Description
The candidate will be responsible to drive global development and implementation of the vision and strategy for area of category assignment and to provide flexible, responsive, and innovative global sourcing support to the business area.
- Partnering globally and acting as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership and functional leadership to drive strategic sourcing and supply management.

- Sustainability Measures
- Proven expertise with various sourcing tools and analytical methods commonly practiced within a best-in-class Procurement organization.
- Work closely with functional business unit heads to create value-added category strategies and hold strong sourcing events.
- Strong interpersonal, communications, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for strategic sourcing, supply management, and operational procurement.
Qualifications
- BA or BS required; MBA preferred.
- Procurement qualifications are a plus (e.g. CSPM, APP, ISM, IPMM or MCIPS).
- 10+ years of procurement experience in a regulated environment (i.e., Financial, Insurance or the like).
- Prior Data Center Purchasing experience a plus.
- Expertise in leading, driving, and managing vendor and contract negotiations including achievement of TCO value.
- Extensive knowledge of category management practices and principles.
- Leadership skills to effectively communicate ideas and influence others.
- High level of client focus and an ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to think strategically and globally when needed.
Requirements
- Primarily walking, sitting, standing, and bending.
- Able to hear and speak on a telephone.
- Close visual work on a computer terminal.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, other technical instruments, and for performing cable terminations and testing.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location.
- Base salary for this position is $129,600 - $189,300.
- All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
- Paid time-off, medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and supplemental insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending account, and 401k retirement plan.
- Monthly stipend provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.
- Remote working with occasional need to be on-site in a shared work environment.
- Up to 20% travel may be required.
