Role Description

The Senior Manager, Alliance Management provides comprehensive operational and strategic support for FMI's biopharma alliances. The Sr. Manager is responsible for implementing and monitoring the execution of plans for specific programs that are part of FMI's biopharma collaborations, including companion diagnostic programs, clinical trial profiling activity, and data partnership activities. In this role, the incumbent works collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal and external teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing execution of FMI's biopharma partnered programs.

• Ensure contracted deliverables and milestones are met once contract is transitioned from SPL/BD to Alliance Management (AM).
• Implement and monitor the execution of plans for specific programs that are part of FMI's biopharma collaborations.
• Serve as the key point of contact in managing day-to-day partnership activities.
• Proactively identify and raise issues both within partnership and internally to provide recommendations for resolutions.
• Act as point of internal and joint escalation, resolving issues without further escalation.
• Serve as lead Alliance Manager and primary point of contact for CDx partnerships.
• Support and lead organization and execution of partnership Governance bodies and Joint Steering Committees.
• Monitor progress against executed collaboration agreements; proactively identify and raise issues.
• Articulate partnership vision and understand partnership projects in context of industry and program strategy.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure communication of business needs.
• Lead and organize execution of partnership governance bodies pursuant to the contract.
• Promote and maintain partner satisfaction and account health through sustained engagement.
• Support Strategic Partnership Leader in account plan development and refinement.
• Travel up to 25%.
• Comply with FMI's attendance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in the life sciences or biopharmaceutical industry or at a diagnostic academic center.
• 5+ years in a business development, project management, or alliance management function.
• Advanced Degree in a scientific discipline (preferred).
• 6+ years in a business development, project management or alliance management function (preferred).
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the planning and execution of collaborative projects (preferred).
• Demonstrated history of being proactive, taking initiative, and driving to results (preferred).
• Strong knowledge and credibility in the oncology market (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and communicate across organizations with different cultures & priorities (preferred).
• Ability to work independently (preferred).
• Exceptional listening and speaking skills (preferred).
• High level of attention to detail and nuance (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a high level of productivity, innovation, and setting priorities (preferred).
• Understanding of HIPAA and the importance of patient data privacy (preferred).

Requirements

• The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Remote is $140,960 - $176,200 per year.
• A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
• This position also qualifies for Foundation Medicine's benefits.
