[Hiring] Senior Localization Team Lead @Hostinger

Your role at Hostinger:

• As Senior Localization Team Lead, you’ll coach a big team of in-house specialists.
• Manage an on-demand freelancer network.
• Help shape how Hostinger communicates in every market it enters.
• Navigate changes while running performance conversations grounded in quality data and growth perspectives.
• This is a people-first, strategy-forward role with high ownership, high autonomy, and real impact.

Your day-to-day:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Localization Specialists.
• Create an environment of psychological safety, ownership, and continuous growth.
• Manage and scale our external freelancer network, owning the full lifecycle.
• Translate business goals into localization execution plans.
• Validate strategic priorities against real team capacity and market realities.
• Take ownership of complex localization challenges without established playbooks.
• Identify recurring quality and delivery issues and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Investigate performance anomalies and drive resolutions end-to-end.
• Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI and localization technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in localization, with at least 3 in a leadership role managing in-house linguists.
• Hands-on background as a translator, editor, or proofreader.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating freelancers or external contributors across multiple markets.
• Strong analytical instincts: you read quality scores, OKR trends, and delivery data.
• Business-first minded: you connect localization work to business outcomes.
• Fluent in the language of cross-functional stakeholders: Marketing, Product, Engineering.
• Proficient with core localization tooling: CAT tools, project management systems, and AI platforms.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating freelancers or external contributors across multiple markets.
• Experience with AI search readiness: structured data, entity optimization, or AI crawler monitoring.
• Familiarity with SurferSEO, Accuranker, or localization-adjacent SEO tools.
• Background working in or alongside high-growth, multi-locale product companies.
