Role Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Living Underwriter. The ideal candidate will have a background in underwriting, with specific expertise in Senior Living and previous experience with a carrier, MGA or Wholesale broker.

• Engage in the end-to-end underwriting process, including processing submissions, account underwriting, quote issuance, policy binding and endorsement management.
• Foster effective communication with agency partners to drive profitable growth.
• Execute daily tasks related to underwriting with precision and attention to detail.
• Proactively interact with all agency partners and management on a daily basis, ensuring exceptional client support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Senior Living underwriting experience.
• Proven track record of successful underwriting in the Senior Living industry.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing senior living insurance.
• Exceptional communication and people skills, essential for effective collaboration.
• Ability to thrive independently in a remote work environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for industry events, showcasing commitment to professional development.

Requirements

• The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 annually.
• Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
