Our Senior Living Risk Management Team supports organizations that provide care and services to senior living communities. This is a remote position with occasional travel. Qualified candidates will reside near a metropolitan airport.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical risk assessments for Senior Living accounts, focusing on professional liability and abuse exposures.
• Evaluate and consult on client's controls, policies, and procedures to strengthen abuse prevention and mitigate liability.
• Develop Senior Living resources such as leadership articles, training modules, and administrator checklists.
• Partner with underwriting, agents, and clients to deliver customized risk management solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your expertise to improve safety, accountability, and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in Senior Living Communities.
• Strong knowledge of professional liability and abuse risk exposures, including prevention strategies and control measures.
• Strong regulatory and survey knowledge.
• Exceptional relationship-building, consulting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with technology and tools for risk assessment and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed RN, LPN/LVN, or comparable clinical professional with direct senior living or skilled nursing experience.
• Professional certifications such as MLIS, ARM, or ASHRM are highly desirable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in safety, science, engineering, fire protection, or construction management preferred.
• A minimum of one of the following designations: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Director of Safety (CDS), or Associate of Risk Management (ARM).
• Typically, 10 or more years of commercial loss control or related experience preferred.
• General knowledge of safety and risk management practices and principles, including regulatory (OSHA, DOT, etc.) and national consensus standards (NFPA, etc.) preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts.
• Ability to prioritize work and time.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and learn/use applicable systems.
