Role Description
The Nisos Intelligence Team, known as Pandion, executes Nisos’ Intelligence Services offerings. The SIA-Technical (SIA-T) serves as a technical expert and will work closely with Pandion colleagues to enhance digital investigations and technical data analysis.
- Conduct network-based cybercrime investigations
- Perform technical analysis and software/tool testing
- Conduct network traffic analysis
- Craft and deliver finished intelligence products across service lines
- Outsource portions of work to specialists when necessary
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of recent experience as an all-source intelligence analyst in the defense or intelligence community, or in an investigative analytical role in law enforcement or a private sector organization
- Strong technical investigative skills
- Analytic writing acumen
Requirements
- Enthusiastic team player with a strong hands-on attitude
- Flexible and adaptable; a problem solver
- Skilled in technical analysis and software/tool testing, including network traffic analysis
- Previous experience using tools such as Wireshark, Burpsuite, etc.
- Identify, infiltrate, and monitor online communities of interest that are selling public data
- Create and write analytic intelligence reports regarding acquired public datasets
- Help evaluate new tools and datasets for integration into proprietary workflows or technology
- Craft finished analytical products incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts to senior executives and other decision-makers
- Effectively brief analytic findings to clients and articulate key recommendations or implications
- Demonstrate strong skills in the collection, management, manipulation, and analysis of structured and unstructured data
- Develop new data-driven methodologies and efficiencies to enable core Pandion workflows
- Be adaptable and flexible in real-time to meet shifting client or organizational demands
- Lead or support complex digital investigations
- Employ OSINT techniques to collect and analyze public data
- Continuously improve knowledge of current OSINT investigative methodologies and toolsets
- Comfortable and experienced crafting both tactical and strategic analysis
- Experienced investigating and assessing the online footprint of an assorted range of entities (individuals, companies, nation states)
- Fluency or proficiency in another language is a plus but not required
