In this role you will manage and grow Teladoc Health's relationship with major insurance companies (health plan payers) while building strategic relationships within your account base, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise, including executive-level personnel. You have the opportunity to expand Teladoc Health's reach within your account base, driving revenue growth, product expansion and market development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience within the health plan payers space
• A proven track record of success with complex and strategic account management
• Experience transforming account productivity from volume-based to value-based results
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, effective consultative style
• Ability to energize, communicate and build rapport at all levels within an organization
• Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel
• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with highly-talented professionals
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Leadership experience and skill, with a vision for market development
• A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to travel for work
• Start-up experience desirable
• Technology and/or professional services experience a plus
• Ideally, a master's degree in Public Health (not required)

Requirements

• Increase Teladoc Health market share by prospecting and identifying new opportunities within your account base
• Develop quarterly reports that enable you to use data to construct a powerful story that defines Teladoc Health's value proposition, for presentation to executive-level clients
• Develop an operating calendar, detailed account plan/forecast and account planning/mapping process
• Work closely with internal partners including product, clinical, data science, implementation, reporting, legal and finance personnel to deliver on Teladoc Health's side of the strategic roadmap
• Maximize, drive and achieve revenue and margin goals while staying within the allocated budget
• Manage and deliver on issue resolution and customer satisfaction within your account base
• Demonstrate a broad comprehension of the customer’s needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products and technologies

Benefits

• The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000
• This position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements)
