[Hiring] Senior Functional Consultant @Inficare Technologies

Role Description

As part of a client-facing Professional Services team, the Senior Functional Consultant provides dedicated support to one or more strategic clients implementing Commercial Loan Servicing. You will work individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects, helping financial institutions implement and optimise commercial lending solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product scope, objectives, requirements, specifications, and data models for product development and testing.
• Gather, refine, and document business and technical requirements for software modifications, custom enhancements, and system integrations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements, process flows, and procedural guides.
• Collaborate with technical analysts and developers to translate requirements into functional designs and development estimates.
• Develop detailed test plans and test cases to validate application changes meet business needs.
• Conduct system, integration, readiness, and UAT testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Provide ongoing support to developers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Assist clients during testing efforts, offering guidance and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Extensive functional experience with Commercial Loan Servicing (ACBS) or other Commercial Lending solutions.
• 5+ years working with financial institutions in functional or technical roles within commercial loan servicing.
• Demonstrated experience with system conversions - analysing and documenting application and system interactions.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end software implementation, preferably with a software vendor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in client-facing environments.

• Experience working with Europe/US time zones.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Location & Work Model

• Fully remote - candidates must be based in Canada.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to align with Europe/US time zones is required.
