[Hiring] Senior Field Application Scientist - Chemistry/Formulations @Revvity

Role Description

As a Field Application Scientist at Revvity Signals, you will be instrumental in driving sales success by closely collaborating with our sales team to navigate opportunities from initiation to close. Your responsibilities include:

• Partnering with representatives of the Sales organization to achieve customer engagements that drive the adoption of our solutions.
• Conducting thorough discoveries to identify customer needs and requirements.
• Designing and executing custom/highly configured software demonstrations in support of pre-sales activities.
• Conducting pre-sales activities such as POCs, pilots, workshops, and evaluations specific to the product area.
• Assisting with responses to RFIs/RFPs related to the product area.
• Providing supplemental support of canned demonstrations as required in the territory.
• Providing strategic insights to product management and product marketing based on customer feedback and market trends to guide product development and market positioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry, Formulations, Cheminformatics or STEM disciplines.
• 3+ years of lab experience in research or industry. Strong understanding of synthetic chemistry required.
• 3+ years' experience in polymer/formulation chemistry is a plus.
• 3+ years' experience with relevant scientific and informatics solutions, including ChemDraw.

Requirements

• MS or PhD degree in Organic Chemistry, Formulations, Cheminformatics or STEM disciplines preferred.
• Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) and analytics platforms like Spotfire is highly desirable.
• Strong experience with scripting languages and RESTful APIs desirable.
• Strong skills in communication and presentation, capable of effectively conveying a solution value.
• Highly customer-oriented with the ability to engage with clients at all levels, conduct demonstrations and solution proof of concepts.
• Open to travel to customer sites and conferences, with travel expectations of 30-40%.
• Previous customer-facing experience is a plus.
