[Hiring] Senior Director, Global Head of Technology MedTech EP CNV Supply Chain @Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine

Role Description

This role leads MedTech EP-CNV Supply Chain Technology across Electrophysiology and Ceronovus platforms, including our Sterilmed and Ultrasound business. The Head of Technology defines the technology vision and strategy, oversees execution, operations, metrics, culture, portfolio, and budgets, and partners with senior business leaders to shape business outcomes and OKRs.

The leader collaborates closely with executives, business, IT, Commercial, R&D, JJT, and SC Digital & Data Science teams to drive process improvements, scalable platforms, and technology innovation that improve health outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering measurable value across the Surgery Supply Chain

The scope spans Planning, Manufacturing, and Labelling, enabling end‑to‑end digital supply chain capabilities such as:

• Product and production definition
• Planning and scheduling
• Materials and track management
• Shopfloor execution and serialization
• Maintenance excellence
• Review and release
• Manufacturing operations management

The role oversees a broad technology landscape, including:

• Supply and demand planning
• SAP S/4HANA and MES
• IoT and edge computing
• Advanced manufacturing and robotics
• Data platforms
• Digital thread and twins
• Labelling systems
• Warehouse management
• AI/ML and GenAI capabilities

Additionally, this role will oversee the setup and expansion of our facility in Costa Rica, while simultaneously managing the supply chain demand expansion in our manufacturing facilities for Galway and Juarez.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business). Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years in technology leadership with direct experience leading line‑of‑business, engineering, data operations, or product teams; 8+ years of people leadership operating at scale in matrixed environments.
• Demonstrated ability to apply technology to solve business problems with exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder partnership across senior levels.
• Experience with supply chain business processes (e.g., Product & Production Definition, Plan Schedule, Materials & Track management, Shopfloor Execution & Serialization, Maintenance Excellence, Review and Release, and Manufacturing Operation Management etc.) – and their interface with foundational technology platforms (ERP, PLAN, MES, Labelling, WMS, etc.).
• Proven track record in product management, agile delivery, and portfolio governance; ability to connect roadmaps to measurable outcomes.
• Fluency with cloud, APIs, data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML/GenAI; hands‑on leadership implementing these capabilities beyond pilot stages.
• Experience modernizing legacy environments while introducing new digital and AI‑enabled solutions safely and compliantly.
• Proven collaborator with demonstrated ability to influence decisions across a complex, matrixed organization to drive alignment, deliver scalable solutions, and advance strategic priorities to support business/regional needs.

• MedTech domain exposure to electrophysiology and neurovascular (imaging/computer vision, connected capital equipment).
• Demonstrated experience working with clinical, commercial, and supply chain stakeholders across global footprint.
• Demonstrated success hiring and developing outstanding technical and product talent; recognized executive presence and change leadership.
