Role Description

The Senior Director, Global Digital & Technology Systems Engineering operates primarily as the primary point of contact and strategic bridge to the Global Technology Solutions (Enterprise IT function), ensuring all business-specific systems align with Enterprise infrastructure, security, identity management, and cloud platform standards.

• Owns the end-to-end remit for systems engineering for externally developed platforms & solutions, integration engineering, and technical application lifecycles across the organization.
• Designs, configures, and deploys high-performance computing (HPC) clusters and containerized environments.
• Implements modern system observability frameworks and robust data pipeline integration architectures.
• Acts as a deep technical subject matter expert advising on foundational AI architecture and systems engineering patterns.
• Contributes to developing and executing BeOne’s R&D systems engineering strategy.
• Ensures strategy alignment with business needs, delivering compelling business value.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in data, digital & information technology with direct oversight in Systems Engineering in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and/or Medical Device industries.
• 7+ years of proven leadership experience at a senior level, directing a team of multi-skilled direct reports and associate-level team members.
• Strong experience in ML/AI/genAI methods and technologies from a Systems Engineering angle.
• Business relationship management acumen and demonstrable success as a change agent leading significant transformational initiatives.
• Strong experience with software lifecycle methodologies, 21CFR Part 11 compliance, and GxP computer systems validation (CSV), ICH guidelines.
• Accomplished in building and developing people and teams.
• Proficient in various project management disciplines (i.e., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean etc.).
